Faustão Alagoano was a little too slow when Luís Paulo Luz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 5th minute. The score was now 1-0. After 8 minutes, Teodoro de Barros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Consuelo and the Terrenos players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Consuelo's Teodoro de Barros got a free kick in the 8th minute. Cauã Fontes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Faustão Alagoano made a huge save. 13 minutes into the match, Consuelo's goal looked a bit too open when Murillo Pitta came free, but Arlindo Barbosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Cauã Fontes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Faustão Alagoano was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Luís Paulo Luz hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Cauã Fontes struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Faustão Alagoano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Consuelo. Arlindo Barbosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murillo Pitta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Cauã Fontes came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Consuelo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cauã Fontes couldn't finish the play. If Cauã Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dito Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arlindo Barbosa having to interfere. Telmo Bezerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Faustão Alagoano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Enéas Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 45th minute, Teodoro de Barros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tarcisio Santana, 46 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Consuelo's zone, Murillo Pitta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arlindo Barbosa came out of the goal and Murillo Pitta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Dito Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Terrenos's supporters rose to their feet, but Dito Faria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arlindo Barbosa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murillo Pitta in the 62nd minute of play forced Consuelo's goalkeeper Arlindo Barbosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Cauã Fontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Terrenos fans' excitement grew in the 82nd match minute when Terrenos's Murillo Pitta looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a little luck, Consuelo's Arlindo Barbosa got control of the ball when Dito Faria tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 88th minute, Cauã Fontes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Faustão Alagoano was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Terrenos's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
