Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Noel de Sena kicked off to start the match. Noel de Sena struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Chico Alagoano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Coreau. 5 minutes into the game, Walmyr Freitas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Geolandia EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coreau the free kick. Noel de Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Chico Alagoano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geolandia EC's Wilson Pimenta got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Coreau's Chico Alagoano threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Noel de Sena, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Wilson Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Wilson Pimenta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Geolandia EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilson Pimenta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augusto Peixoto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Augusto Peixoto came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Geolandia EC's Wilson Pimenta. But to his dismay, Wilson Pimenta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. A collision led to Coreau getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Oscar Palmeira hit a great ball. 42 minutes into the match, Geolandia EC's Dionísio Brito sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Augusto Peixoto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Noel de Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Chico Alagoano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wilson Pimenta to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Coreau's zone, Dionísio Brito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Augusto Peixoto came out of the goal and Dionísio Brito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Cléber Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Durval Amorim got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Noel de Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chico Alagoano having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Coreau's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson Pimenta came free, but Augusto Peixoto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Dionísio Brito came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Geolandia EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dionísio Brito couldn't finish the play. Augusto Peixoto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Pimenta in the 82nd minute of the match. Augusto Peixoto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovani Paraíba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cléber Pereira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 87 minutes, Noel de Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coreau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Noel de Sena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Wilson Pimenta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dionísio Brito blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Augusto Peixoto having to make a save. Augusto Peixoto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Pimenta in the 96th minute of the match. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
