Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Donatello Jacinto started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. If Donatello Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonas Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jonas Azevedo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Celsinho Cavalcante having to make a save. Jonas Azevedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Celsinho Cavalcante made a huge save. 28 minutes into the match, Caatinga's goalkeeper Celsinho Cavalcante had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Adolfo Lima. When Luizão Gomes came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Caatinga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luizão Gomes couldn't finish the play. Jonas Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafinha Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luizão Gomes in the 46th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Luizão Gomes made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Carlinhos Brasil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caatinga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlinhos Brasil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rafinha Arantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luizão Gomes in the 54th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabrício Lopez during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Caatinga's zone, Jonas Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celsinho Cavalcante came out of the goal and Jonas Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 60 played minutes Caatinga got a freekick which was hit by Fabrício Lopez. In the 61st minute of the match Fausto Marquez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Celsinho Cavalcante skillfully saved the ball. After 63 minutes, Fausto Marquez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Reliquia and the Caatinga players grew even worse after the yellow card. Carlinhos Brasil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafinha Arantes having to interfere. Rafinha Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Umberto Cearense in the 73rd minute of play. In the 76th minute Donatello Jacinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celsinho Cavalcante saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th match minute, Reliquia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celsinho Lago to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Arlindo Ferraz from long distance, 80 minutes into the match, got Rafinha Arantes's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Donatello Jacinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonas Azevedo in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Celsinho Cavalcante prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luizão Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Celsinho Cavalcante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, Reliquia's goal looked a bit too open when Luizão Gomes came free, but Rafinha Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Donatello Jacinto in the 96th minute of play forced Caatinga's goalkeeper Celsinho Cavalcante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
