Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) When Embaubas's Carlos Mumbach in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arceburgo's goalie prevented a goal. In the 8th minute, Carlos Mumbach ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arí Jacinto was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Marcel Motta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 14 played minutes Arceburgo got a freekick which was hit by Tales Linhares. If Adriano Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedrão Freire's late challenge caught a Embaubas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pedrão Freire helped the player get up and apologised. In the 22nd minute, Pedrão Freire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adriano Valle was extremely unlucky when he, in the 27th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Marcus Dias's late challenge caught a Arceburgo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcus Dias helped the player get up and apologised. In the 33rd minute, Embaubas's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marcel Motta fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 39th play minutes Carlos Mumbach shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Arí Jacinto and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 44th minute Robinho Fernandez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arí Jacinto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, Adriano Valle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After the first half Embaubas were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adriano Valle stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Laerte Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Motta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 56th minute, Maurinho Passos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samuca Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arí Jacinto having to interfere. When Samuca Ortiz came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Embaubas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Samuca Ortiz couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuca Ortiz in the 66th minute of play forced Arceburgo's goalkeeper Arí Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Arceburgo getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Betinho Maranhense hit a great ball. Arí Jacinto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Mumbach in the 68th minute. Samuca Ortiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcel Motta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laerte Valle having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Maurinho Passos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maurinho Passos kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Arceburgo's Duarte de Barros broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 96 minutes into the game, Carlos Mumbach cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Arí Jacinto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Embaubas's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
