Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bruninho da Costa started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute of the match, Bruninho da Costa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Laerte Valle saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Aníbal Pontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuca Ortiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Embaubas's Laerte Valle played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruninho da Costa in the 14th minute of play. Carlos Mumbach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aníbal Pontes having to interfere. In the 22nd match minute, Embaubas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Válbson Pitta to maneuver through the defense. 23 minutes into the game, one of Embaubas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Targinos a penalty, 25 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Wágner Vianna, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Embaubas's Laerte Valle. 1-0. Carlos Mumbach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aníbal Pontes having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Samuca Ortiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carlos Mumbach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuca Ortiz in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aníbal Pontes saved Targinos from getting behind. 40 minutes into the match, Samuca Ortiz notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Targinos's Aníbal Pontes. Aníbal Pontes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Samuca Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aníbal Pontes having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Samuca Ortiz made the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes, Targinos's Dé Paes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Laerte Valle came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Targinos reached it. 56 minutes into the match, Targinos's Bruninho da Costa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Laerte Valle narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuca Ortiz in the 58th minute of play forced Targinos's goalkeeper Aníbal Pontes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Paulo Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laerte Valle having to interfere. In the 60th match minute, Embaubas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robinho Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. Aníbal Pontes made a fantastic save in the 65th minute, when Carlos Mumbach sent off a good shot on target. Carlos Mumbach received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Aníbal Pontes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Embaubas's Samuca Ortiz got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. José Paulo Montenegro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dinei Barbosa kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Samuca Ortiz fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Aníbal Pontes, passed just outside the right post. Aníbal Pontes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuca Ortiz in the 85th minute of play. When Targinos's José Paulo Montenegro in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Embaubas's goalie prevented a goal. Laerte Valle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruninho da Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
