After having played for 4 minutes, Adalberto da Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Letras AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adalberto da Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fausto Peixoto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adalberto da Costa went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Zé Augusto Meirelles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chiquinho Costa having to interfere. Chiquinho Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Toledo in the 12th minute of play. Rômulo Simões kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Dé Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fausto Peixoto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fausto Peixoto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adalberto da Costa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Dé Vinhas came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Letras AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dé Vinhas couldn't finish the play. If Zé Augusto Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Leonardo Toledo made the kick off in the second half. When Leonardo Toledo came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Piranhaquara FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Toledo couldn't finish the play. Chiquinho Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonardo Toledo in the 57th minute of play. The supporters of Piranhaquara FC booed when Letras AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matheus Maia didn't get a good kick on the ball.
