The supporters of Dulcinopolis booed when Letras AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlinhos de Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armandinho Rodrigues sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Válter Castro in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chiquinho Costa saved Letras AD from getting behind. In the 84th minute Armandinho Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquinho Costa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chiquinho Costa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Válter Castro went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score.
