Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gonçalo de Alcântara got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Arapora FC's Gualter Lima ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Vitório do Nascimento. Vitório do Nascimento yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Betinho Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vitório do Nascimento having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gonçalo de Alcântara in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adolfo de Mendonça prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 14 played minutes Arapora FC got a freekick which was hit by Délio Martins. Arapora FC's Adolfo de Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gonçalo de Alcântara in the 16th minute of play. Gonçalo de Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Adolfo de Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vitório do Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualter Lima, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vitório do Nascimento stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gualter Lima's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Betinho Lucas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Betinho Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Vitório do Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Veados getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gualter Lima made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Pena during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Arapora FC booed when Veados was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Pena didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute, Alan Mangueira fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Adolfo de Mendonça, passed just outside the right post. Veados's Vitório do Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Betinho Lucas in the 65th minute of play. Alan Mangueira might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adolfo de Mendonça. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alan Mangueira ran back to his position shaking his head. Reinaldo Berger's late challenge caught a Arapora FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Reinaldo Berger helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st match minute, Veados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reinaldo Berger to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 72 minutes, Falcão Proença managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Arapora FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Falcão Proença was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alan Mangueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Betinho Lucas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
