Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Remo Schmidt got the match started through his kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Araioses EC's goal looked a bit too open when Remo Schmidt came free, but Tales Ferraz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tales Ferraz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remo Schmidt in the 8th minute of the match. Remo Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Tales Ferraz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Custódio Leal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vânderson Peixoto took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pedrinho Ortiz. Pedrinho Ortiz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Décio Pires's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedrinho Ortiz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. After 30 minutes of play, Araioses EC's Vânderson Peixoto made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedrinho Ortiz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Araioses EC's Geovani Sá got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Remo Schmidt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vânderson Peixoto made a kick off. 57 minutes into the game, Décio Pires was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Araioses EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itamoabo SC the free kick. A collision led to Araioses EC getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Décio Pires hit a great ball. Remo Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tales Ferraz having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Remo Schmidt in the 71st minute of play forced Araioses EC's goalkeeper Tales Ferraz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Araioses EC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Angelo Marinho hit a great ball. When Itamoabo SC's Custódio Leal in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Araioses EC's goalie prevented a goal. When Araioses EC's Vânderson Peixoto in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Itamoabo SC's goalie prevented a goal. When Custódio Leal came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Itamoabo SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Custódio Leal couldn't finish the play. Décio Pires got his second yellow card in the match during the 94th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Chants of Araioses EC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Itamoabo SC had held the ball for most of the match.
