Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) A collision led to Taquarussu AD getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Arí Massa hit a great ball. If Leonardo Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 13 played minutes Taquarussu AD got a freekick which was hit by José Maranhense. Samuel Favoretto came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Taquarussu AD's Leonardo Torres. But to his dismay, Leonardo Torres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When Itapiciru EC's Geovani da Fonseca in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Taquarussu AD's goalie prevented a goal. 37 minutes into the game, Geovani da Fonseca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Agnaldo Jacinto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alfredo Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Samuel Favoretto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Itapiciru EC's Samuel Favoretto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Miranda in the 45th minute of play. Leonardo Torres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Favoretto having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geovani da Fonseca to make the kick off. In the 51st minute of the match, Maurício da Rocha got a very nice opportunity to score, but Agnaldo Jacinto was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Maurício da Rocha's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 55thth minute, Agnaldo Jacinto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dagoberto Faria during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Maurício da Rocha came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Itapiciru EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maurício da Rocha couldn't finish the play. If Alfredo Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When José Pedro Cardoso fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Itapiciru EC's protests and gave José Pedro Cardoso a yellow card for diving instead. José Pedro Cardoso hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. José Pedro Cardoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alfredo Miranda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Favoretto having to interfere. A collision led to Taquarussu AD getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Digo Pombal hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovani da Fonseca in the 95th minute of play forced Taquarussu AD's goalkeeper Agnaldo Jacinto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
