The long shot by Pedrinho Nascimento in the 11th minute really tested Alex de Queirós's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Alex de Queirós showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Flávio Pombal in the 16th minute of the match. Tiago de Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Juremal booed when Claudio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Meirelles didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Jacinto Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juremal's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Ortiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eliseu Xavier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tiago de Sena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseu Xavier having to interfere. With his leg Alex de Queirós managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Claudio's Augusto Souto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 31 minutes into the game, Juremal's Jacinto Ortiz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eliseu Xavier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Flávio Pombal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute, Juremal's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Flávio Pombal fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jacinto Ortiz to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Claudio's Augusto Souto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alex de Queirós narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Souto in the 57th minute of play forced Juremal's goalkeeper Alex de Queirós to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute Jacinto Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseu Xavier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 84 minutes, Augusto Souto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Claudio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Souto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juremal's Alex de Queirós played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flávio Pombal in the 85th minute of play. After having played for 88 minutes, Augusto Souto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Claudio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Souto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alex de Queirós showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flávio Pombal, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Tiago de Sena received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Eliseu Xavier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiago de Sena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Tiago de Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot.
