Christian Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Chavantes SC's Olívio Peres got a free kick in the 8th minute. The audience was convinced that Cesinha de Senna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Natanael Faria was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. In the 17th minute Cesinha de Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Natanael Faria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 28 minutes, Cesinha de Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Meier SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesinha de Senna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zé Augusto Palmeira hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Meier SC's attack was well implemented in the 31st minute, but when Cesinha de Senna was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Cesinha de Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chavantes SC's Natanael Faria played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesinha de Senna in the 37th minute of play. Cesinha de Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Cesinha de Senna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Natanael Faria having to interfere. Cesinha de Senna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Diego Penha blasted a shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Glauco Garcia having to make a save. In the 62nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chavantes SC's goalkeeper Natanael Faria, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 63 minutes into the match, Chavantes SC's goal looked a bit too open when Cesinha de Senna came free, but Natanael Faria reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Duda Pontes came free with the goalkeeper in the 65th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Natanael Faria could save by the left post. Glauco Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Galvão in the 67th minute of the match. Augusto Galvão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glauco Garcia having to interfere. Natanael Faria made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesinha de Senna in the 74th minute of play. Duda Pontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Natanael Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 84 played minutes Chavantes SC got a freekick which was hit by Olívio Peres. After some careless play in the Meier SC defense, Augusto Galvão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Glauco Garcia. The Meier SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Glauco Garcia should have stopped the shot. Diego Penha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Glauco Garcia having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Chavantes SC had won after a very even match.
