The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 40 minutes into the match, Kauan Paranaense dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Glauco Garcia, 2-1. Pirajai's Bruno Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesinha de Senna in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Duda Pontes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Bruno Coelho made a huge save. In the 92ndth minute of the game Guto Teles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Meier SC's Glauco Garcia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pirajai had won after a very even match.
