Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kiko Vidal kicked off to start the match. 5 minutes into the game, Diamantino Sabóia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fangueiro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guraituba SC the free kick. In the 5th match minute, Fangueiro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diamantino Sabóia to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Fangueiro's Murillo Campidelis got control of the ball when José Ferraz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mauro França took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Márcio Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Guraituba SC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Jefferson Santos hit a great ball. Márcio Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro França having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Guraituba SC's goal looked a bit too open when Márcio Antunes came free, but Mauro França reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 14 played minutes Guraituba SC got a freekick which was hit by Jefferson Santos. Gerson Pena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When José Ferraz came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Guraituba SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Ferraz couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd minute, Fangueiro's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after José Ferraz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 27th minute, Dudu Dias made a precise shot to the right of Mauro França. Guraituba SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 32ndth minute of the game Márcio Antunes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guraituba SC's Mauro França was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Guraituba SC's Mauro França played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dudu Dias in the 33rd minute of play. The supporters of Fangueiro booed when Guraituba SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerson Pena didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 38 in the game by José Ferraz from a close distance when the talented Murillo Campidelis managed to make a qualified save. Fangueiro's players were relieved. Kiko Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Murillo Campidelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fangueiro's Murillo Campidelis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Fangueiro from getting a goal against them. After the first half Fangueiro were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dudu Dias was the one to do the kick off. Mauro França was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Márcio Antunes showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 52 minute of play. 55 minutes into the game, Gerson Pena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guraituba SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fangueiro the free kick. Arthur Prestes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 69thth minute of the game Kiko Vidal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fangueiro's Murillo Campidelis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Fangueiro's Flavinho de Medeiros got a free kick in the 73rd minute. If Claudinho Albuquerque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 92 minutes, Víktor Lima mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guraituba SC and the Fangueiro players grew even worse after the yellow card. Víktor Lima hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute, Dudu Dias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
