Kiko Vidal started the match with the kick off. Kauã Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jefferson Santos in the 3rd minute of the match. Carlinhos Gaspar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mauro França came out and tried to block the shot, but Carlinhos Gaspar slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. Mauro França showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlinhos Gaspar, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Juan Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro França having to interfere. Adrianinho Félix took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kauã Lara. Pagode EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If José Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kauã Lara came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Guraituba SC's Kiko Vidal. But to his dismay, Kiko Vidal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Kauã Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kiko Vidal in the 30th minute of the match. Kiko Vidal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Carlinhos Gaspar made a kick off. If Kiko Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the game, Guraituba SC's José Ferraz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kauã Lara made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Mauro França made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlinhos Gaspar in the 66th minute of play. In the 68th minute, José Ferraz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Kiko Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rd minute, Kiko Vidal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gerson Pena hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. When Carlinhos Gaspar came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Pagode EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlinhos Gaspar couldn't finish the play. José Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kauã Lara made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Ferraz in the 89th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Pagode EC's goal looked a bit too open when Kiko Vidal came free, but Kauã Lara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Pagode EC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Guraituba SC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
