Dudu Dias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juarês Varela hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Luiz Eduardo Vieira put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Murillo Campidelis. When Dudu Dias came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Fangueiro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dudu Dias couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Anacleto FC booed when Fangueiro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diamantino Sabóia didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 18 played minutes, Anacleto FC's Luciano do Vale shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Murillo Campidelis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Anacleto FC reached it. After 19 minutes of play, Anacleto FC's Luiz Eduardo Vieira made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Murillo Campidelis was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 28th minute, Ademar Loyola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Anacleto FC's Dráuzio Cordeiro got control of the ball when Márcio Antunes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Márcio Antunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, Fangueiro's Dudu Dias ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dráuzio Cordeiro. Dráuzio Cordeiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. In the 39th match minute, Anacleto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Guedes to maneuver through the defense. Anacleto FC's Luiz Eduardo Vieira got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Murillo Campidelis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ademar Loyola in the 44th minute of play. Márcio Antunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dráuzio Cordeiro having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dudu Dias to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dudu Dias in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dráuzio Cordeiro saved Anacleto FC from getting behind. In the 54th match minute, Anacleto FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Maia to maneuver through the defense. After 56 minutes of play, Fangueiro's Márcio Antunes made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dráuzio Cordeiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ademar Loyola blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Murillo Campidelis having to make a save. Murillo Campidelis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Eduardo Vieira in the 63rd minute. 63 minutes into the match, Luiz Eduardo Vieira dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Murillo Campidelis, 2-3. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Eduardo Vieira couldn't finish the play. The Anacleto FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
