Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cássio Fernandez kicked off to start the match. João Carlos Trancoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 5 played minutes Muritiba FC got a freekick which was hit by Wanderson Britto. Hermínio de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Carlos Trancoso in the 7th minute of play. When Igapira's Cássio Fernandez in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Muritiba FC's goalie prevented a goal. Cássio Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermínio de Queiroz having to interfere. The supporters of Igapira booed when Muritiba FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natanael Sampaio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 20 minutes, Gualter Gaúcho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Muritiba FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualter Gaúcho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Gualter Gaúcho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Igapira getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Magno Fernandez hit a great ball. 33 minutes into the match, Igapira's goal looked a bit too open when Gualter Gaúcho came free, but Adolfo Ramalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Igapira's Adolfo Ramalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualter Gaúcho in the 34th minute of play. João Carlos Trancoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hermínio de Queiroz having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gualter Gaúcho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Adolfo Ramalho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualter Gaúcho in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute Albertino da Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adolfo Ramalho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Cássio Fernandez came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Igapira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cássio Fernandez couldn't finish the play. In the 61st minute, Gualter Gaúcho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. João Carlos Trancoso made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 68thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Hermínio de Queiroz would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. After 69 played minutes Muritiba FC got a freekick which was hit by Natanael Sampaio. Cássio Fernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hermínio de Queiroz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Fernandez in the 78th minute of play. When João Carlos Trancoso came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Igapira fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Carlos Trancoso couldn't finish the play. 89 minutes into the game, João Carlos Trancoso lined in a short shot 0-2 behind a frustrated Hermínio de Queiroz. If João Carlos Trancoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Igapira could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Muritiba FC throughout the match.
