But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cássio Leão couldn't finish the play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patrício Seco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Leão in the 23rd minute of play. The wind increased when Cássio Leão made the kick off in the second half. Patrício Seco made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Nildo Simões sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cássio Leão in the 62nd minute of play forced Dobrada's goalkeeper Patrício Seco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nildo Simões might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Patrício Seco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nildo Simões ran back to his position shaking his head. Dobrada's Patrício Seco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Dobrada from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeca Vasconcelos in the 70th minute of play forced Maruai's goalkeeper Benjamin Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
