Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Edmílson Melo started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes Itamatare got a freekick which was hit by Frederico Prestes. After some careless play in the Itamatare defense, Duda Cearense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erasmo Eger. The Itamatare fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erasmo Eger should have stopped the shot. In the 8th minute, Edmílson Melo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Joel Salgado. The goal made the score 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alex Xavier during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Itamatare getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Alex Xavier hit a great ball. Erasmo Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinho Gonçalves, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. When Juscelandia's Duda Cearense in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Itamatare's goalie prevented a goal. Erasmo Eger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorian Vergílio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sidney Gaspar charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sidney Gaspar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sidney Gaspar hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. 30 minutes into the match, Juscelandia's Claudinho Gonçalves broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Duda Cearense came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Juscelandia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duda Cearense couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Itamatare's zone, Duda Cearense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erasmo Eger came out of the goal and Duda Cearense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Dorian Vergílio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dorian Vergílio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Erasmo Eger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erasmo Eger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorian Vergílio in the 50th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Fellipe de Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Salgado having to interfere. In the 64th minute of the match, Duda Cearense tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Erasmo Eger saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rubens Loureiro charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rubens Loureiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Itamatare booed when Juscelandia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rubens Loureiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anderson Proença sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dorian Vergílio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 79 minutes into the match, Juscelandia's Duda Cearense sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erasmo Eger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sidney Gaspar hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Dorian Vergílio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute of the match, Dorian Vergílio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Erasmo Eger was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Dorian Vergílio scored 1-2 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erasmo Eger, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edmílson Melo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Itamatare's Erasmo Eger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duda Cearense in the 98th minute of play. Juscelandia played a much better game than Itamatare and deserved their victory. The Itamatare players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
