Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Clóvis Sá got the match started through his kick off. Tibúrcio Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fumo FC's goalkeeper Walmyr Corrêa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 14th match minute, Fumo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adolfo Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute Belmiro Gerber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walmyr Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Literlade's zone, Clóvis Sá stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcinho Terra came out of the goal and Clóvis Sá tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Clóvis Sá got free in front of the goal in the 31st minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Marcinho Terra was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After having played for 36 minutes, Belmiro Gerber managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Literlade's supporters crossed their fingers, but Belmiro Gerber was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Augusto Guerra struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Walmyr Corrêa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Literlade. Tibúrcio Soeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcinho Terra having to interfere. Belmiro Gerber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Walmyr Corrêa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Belmiro Gerber to strike the kick off in the second half. Augusto Guerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmyr Corrêa having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Augusto Guerra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Walmyr Corrêa was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 69 minutes into the match, Literlade's Belmiro Gerber sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Walmyr Corrêa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Walmyr Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belmiro Gerber in the 74th minute of play. Literlade's Marcinho Terra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Literlade from getting a goal against them. Walmyr Corrêa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Guerra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute, Oswaldo Leite hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Belmiro Gerber in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Walmyr Corrêa saved Fumo FC from getting behind. After 95 played minutes Fumo FC got a freekick which was hit by Acácio Quadros. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Literlade had won after a very even match.
