The supporters of Vallinhos AD booed when Taiuva EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vivaldo de Godoy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Taiuva EC's Adolfo Moreira got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aloísio Messias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tony Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. In the 65thth minute of the game Tony Faria who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vallinhos AD's Aloísio Messias was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
