Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Elano Oliveira made the kick off which started today's match. A hard shot by Edgard Amorim from long distance, 5 minutes into the match, got Gilberto França's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Buique's Manuel Luz got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 16th match minute, Buique was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamim Proença to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute of the match Artur Antunes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hílton Coutinho showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Buique's zone, Sidnei de Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hílton Coutinho came out of the goal and Sidnei de Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Renatinho Simão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Papunhas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Elano Oliveira scored to the left of an out of position Gilberto França, making the score, 1-1. Gilberto França made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elano Oliveira in the 33rd minute of play. Elano Oliveira scored 2-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilberto França, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
In the 53rd minute, Edgard Amorim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 54th minute of the match Igor Veiga sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hílton Coutinho skillfully saved the ball. Gilberto França stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elano Oliveira's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Lenílson Linares hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Buique's Hílton Coutinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renatinho Simão in the 61st minute of play. Elano Oliveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 64th play minutes Elano Oliveira shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Gilberto França and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 69th minute Elano Oliveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto França saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Luz struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Gilberto França didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buique. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elano Oliveira in the 77th minute of play forced Papunhas's goalkeeper Gilberto França to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The attack was good, but when Manuel Luz in the 79th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Gilberto França showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elano Oliveira in the 81st minute of the match. In the 88thth minute of the game Elano Oliveira who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Papunhas's Gilberto França was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jerônimo Bittencourt took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gilberto França. Papunhas's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The attack was good, but when Elano Oliveira in the 95th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. There was no doubt that Buique were the better team. Buique's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
