Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Silas Cearense kicked off to start the match. 11 minutes into the game, Lapa's Iuri de Alcântara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Osmar dos Santos made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Edson Coelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serginho Santana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute, Róbson Moreno had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chico Pinheiro during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Chico Pinheiro hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Iuri de Alcântara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 28th minute, Iuri de Alcântara got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lapa's Iuri de Alcântara was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 36th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Osmar dos Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silas Cearense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Iuri de Alcântara made a precise shot to the right of Osmar dos Santos. Calogeras SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adriano Abraão to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Geraldo Zanette during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Geraldo Zanette hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute of the match Edmundo Faria shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edson Coelho showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Adriano Abraão who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Edson Coelho when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 60 played minutes Lapa got a freekick which was hit by Paulo José Magalhães. Calogeras SS's Osmar dos Santos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iuri de Alcântara in the 62nd minute of play. Edson Coelho was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Edmundo Faria. In the 68th minute Silas Cearense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Osmar dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silas Cearense in the 70th minute of play forced Calogeras SS's goalkeeper Osmar dos Santos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 74 played minutes Lapa got a freekick which was hit by Iuri de Alcântara. Silas Cearense scored 4-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Osmar dos Santos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Iuri de Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edson Coelho made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Adriano Abraão sent off a good shot on target. Adriano Abraão could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Edson Coelho made a huge save. When the referee ended the match the Lapa players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
