Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Serginho Esteves made the kick off which started today's match. Hortêncio Cosme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vivaldo Prata in the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute, Agnaldo Cosme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Segundo's Magno Motta got a free kick in the 18th minute. Serginho Esteves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Antônio Novaes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Serginho Esteves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. William Gonçalves might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hortêncio Cosme. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. William Gonçalves ran back to his position shaking his head. William Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hortêncio Cosme having to interfere. When José Paulo Hoffmann fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Segundo's protests and gave José Paulo Hoffmann a yellow card for diving instead. 45 minutes into the match, Américo Lucas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Antônio Novaes. Segundo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Américo Lucas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when William Gonçalves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leandro Montenegro's late challenge caught a Segundo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leandro Montenegro helped the player get up and apologised. Américo Lucas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Américo Lucas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Antônio Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vivaldo Prata's late challenge caught a Comocoxico EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vivaldo Prata helped the player get up and apologised. After 62 played minutes Segundo got a freekick which was hit by Vivaldo Prata. 64 minutes into the match, Segundo's goal looked a bit too open when Serginho Esteves came free, but Antônio Novaes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, Segundo's William Gonçalves dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. If Vivaldo Prata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vivaldo Prata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. William Gonçalves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vivaldo Prata got free with Hortêncio Cosme in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 86th minute, William Gonçalves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Segundo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers William Gonçalves in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hortêncio Cosme saved Comocoxico EC from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Gonçalves in the 95th minute of play forced Comocoxico EC's goalkeeper Hortêncio Cosme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Comocoxico EC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Segundo's performance. The match ended with a win for Segundo.
