Zé Urbano kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute of the match Matías Zilles sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dedé de Amorim skillfully saved the ball. Erik Rosado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Antônio Novaes made a huge save. Zé Urbano kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Segundo's Matías Zilles tried to score from far away in the 25th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. William Gonçalves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Dedé de Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute, César Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute, William Gonçalves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vivaldo Prata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Nhandutiba SC's Zé Urbano got a free kick in the 37th minute. Segundo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Matías Zilles in the 40th minute. In the 40th match minute, Segundo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Sena to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute, Cipriano Sena fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute William Gonçalves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dedé de Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evaristo Silveira to make the kick off. When Magno Motta fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Segundo's protests and gave Magno Motta a yellow card for diving instead. After 52 played minutes Segundo got a freekick which was hit by Magno Motta. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Nhandutiba SC's goalkeeper Dedé de Amorim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Segundo's Matías Zilles was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dedé de Amorim in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, William Gonçalves took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Dedé de Amorim to make any attempt to save it. Dedé de Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Gonçalves in the 79th minute of play. Vivaldo Prata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Dedé de Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antônio Novaes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Paulo Hoffmann charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed José Paulo Hoffmann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
