Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jorginho Félix started the match with the kick off. Hugo Arantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Arruda having to interfere. After having played for 6 minutes, Jorginho Félix managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salinas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorginho Félix was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Taunay SC's zone, Jorginho Félix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amadeu Veiga came out of the goal and Jorginho Félix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mauro Massa hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Amadeu Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Simões in the 11th minute of play. If Hugo Arantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walmir Valle charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Walmir Valle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th match minute, Salinas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Walmir Valle to maneuver through the defense. Amadeu Veiga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorginho Félix, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Carlos Fernando Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vicente Arruda having to interfere. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Salinas FC's goalkeeper Vicente Arruda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Taunay SC's Vicente Arruda threw himself towards the right post 36 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carlos Fernando Moreira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Taunay SC's Hugo Arantes got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jorginho Félix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Veiga having to interfere. Amadeu Veiga came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Salinas FC's Lúcio Jacinto. But to his dismay, Lúcio Jacinto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Lúcio Jacinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Veiga having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Jorginho Félix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Patrick Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 58 minutes in the game, Jorginho Félix fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Amadeu Veiga having to interfere. Taunay SC's Amadeu Veiga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Taunay SC from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlos Fernando Moreira in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vicente Arruda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jorginho Félix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Veiga having to interfere. Patrick Simões kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 72ndth minute. Though ot was a great shot Taunay SC's keeper Amadeu Veiga was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Vicente Arruda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Fernando Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. If Patrick Simões had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jânio Moreira fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Taunay SC's protests and gave Jânio Moreira a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Taunay SC's Jânio Moreira got a free kick in the 81st minute. With an all-out effort, Salinas FC's Amadeu Veiga threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jorginho Félix, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Salinas FC's Vicente Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Fernando Moreira in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Walmir Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Fernando Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Vicente Arruda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
