Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Richard de Toledo took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Moleque EC's Josué Novaes got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Juninho Brasil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Ivagaci EC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Natanael Lopes hit a great ball. Tales Arce was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Clóvis Pombal. If Richard de Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 19 played minutes, Ivagaci EC's Humberto Pinho shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper João Carlos Messias came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ivagaci EC reached it. 21 minutes into the game, one of Ivagaci EC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tales Arce made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Mateus Xavier sent off a good shot on target. In the 26th minute, Mateus Xavier reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tales Arce. The goal made the score 2-0. When Mateus Xavier came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Moleque EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mateus Xavier couldn't finish the play. João Carlos Messias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard de Toledo in the 33rd minute of play. If Richard de Toledo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simão Linhares kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. João Carlos Messias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juninho Brasil in the 39th minute of play. When Waldemar Torres fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ivagaci EC's protests and gave Waldemar Torres a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Moleque EC booed when Ivagaci EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldemar Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Inácio Pimenta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moleque EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Inácio Pimenta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Inácio Pimenta stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Richard de Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. João Carlos Messias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Juninho Brasil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ivagaci EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Juninho Brasil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Carlos Messias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 58th minute, Afonso Figueiredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maurinho Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. João Carlos Messias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 66 minutes, Simão Linhares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Moleque EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Simão Linhares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tales Arce showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateus Xavier, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. When Moleque EC's Mateus Xavier in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ivagaci EC's goalie prevented a goal. Tales Arce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mateus Xavier in the 83rd minute of play. In the 88th minute, Inácio Pimenta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ivagaci EC's Tales Arce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateus Xavier in the 92nd minute of play. Moleque EC's João Carlos Messias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 100th minute of the match, managed to save Moleque EC from getting a goal against them.
