In the 6th minute, Enio Brasil got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Vigia SC's Enio Brasil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Erivaldo Ferraz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Gláuber Almeida came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Vigia SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gláuber Almeida couldn't finish the play. Jacinto Paranaense hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Donato Carioca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Cordeiro having to interfere. If Gláuber Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacinto Paranaense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the game, Jacinto Paranaense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caririacu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vigia SC the free kick. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gláuber Almeida to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Lúcio Bezerra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emanuel Cordeiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 57th match minute, Vigia SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rony Donato to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lúcio Bezerra in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emanuel Cordeiro saved Vigia SC from getting behind. A collision led to Vigia SC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Marco Cardoso hit a great ball. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Vigia SC's goalkeeper Emanuel Cordeiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emanuel Cordeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lúcio Bezerra in the 71st minute of the match. Erivaldo Ferraz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gláuber Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Lúcio Bezerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rony Donato kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Emanuel Cordeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lúcio Bezerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Tadeu Motta charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tadeu Motta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 90th minute of the game. One of Caririacu:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Vigia SC:s goal. The referee gave Vigia SC a penalty, 91 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Marco Cardoso, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Caririacu's Erivaldo Ferraz. 2-3. Vigia SC's Ediberto Baiano suffered a sore foot after 95 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 95 minutes, Donato Carioca mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caririacu and the Vigia SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Donato Carioca kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The Vigia SC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
