A very good chance. 8 minutes into the match, Candelaria's goal looked a bit too open when Décio Batista came free, but Diamantino Costa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diamantino Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 0-1 became the score in the 10th minute when Décio Batista elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Guilherme Senna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto de Medeiros in the 14th minute. Alberto de Medeiros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Guilherme Senna made a huge save. Percival Branco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guilherme Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Acácio do Vale in the 28th minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Acácio do Vale was the one to do the kick off. Percival Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Diamantino Costa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 55 minutes, Percival Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fojo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Percival Branco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Alberto de Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Candelaria's supporters rose to their feet, but Alberto de Medeiros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guilherme Senna breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Fojo FC's Lúcio Tasso got a free kick in the 75th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto de Medeiros in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Guilherme Senna prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fojo FC's Guilherme Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto de Medeiros in the 80th minute of play. Candelaria's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cléber Brasil ran over to the corner to take the kick. Candelaria's Diamantino Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Décio Batista in the 92nd minute of play.
