Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Catita FC's Conrado Fontes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Adalberto Bueno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adalberto Bueno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 13 played minutes Paulista FC got a freekick which was hit by José Carlos Novaes. After some careless play in the Catita FC defense, Adalberto Bueno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giuseppe Leite. The Catita FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giuseppe Leite should have stopped the shot. Luiz Fernando Nascimento blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Giuseppe Leite having to make a save. Arí Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Conrado Fontes, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Conrado Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Catita FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Conrado Fontes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arí Pinheiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Agnaldo Linares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, Adalberto Bueno notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Catita FC's Giuseppe Leite. Giuseppe Leite was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Conrado Fontes in the 50th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arí Pinheiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luiz Fernando Nascimento to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Paulista FC's zone, Agnaldo Linares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arí Pinheiro came out of the goal and Agnaldo Linares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 59 minutes into the match, Conrado Fontes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arí Pinheiro, 2-1. In the 63rd minute Adalberto Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giuseppe Leite saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Luiz Fernando Nascimento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Giuseppe Leite. Catita FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luiz Fernando Nascimento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After 75 minutes, Luizão Leite mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paulista FC and the Catita FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 75 played minutes Paulista FC got a freekick which was hit by Luizão Leite. Luiz Fernando Nascimento received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Giuseppe Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 84 minutes, Nando Gaspar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Catita FC and the Paulista FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th minute, José Carlos Novaes sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Catita FC's Giuseppe Leite didn't even have to move. Giuseppe Leite showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adalberto Bueno in the 90th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Fernando Nascimento in the 92nd minute of play forced Catita FC's goalkeeper Giuseppe Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Agnaldo Linares came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Catita FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agnaldo Linares couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Catita FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Paulista FC.
