In the 9th minute, Eriberto da Silva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Régis Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chico Paiva having to interfere. Régis Correia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Chico Paiva made a huge save. 15 minutes into the game, Igarapava EC's Jacinto Pena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chico Paiva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 26th minute, Régis Correia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 31st minute, Igarapava EC's Jacinto Pena dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Igarapava EC's Régis Correia got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edmílson do Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Liberdade SS defense, Jacinto Pena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chico Paiva. The Liberdade SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chico Paiva should have stopped the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

After 57 played minutes Igarapava EC got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Saraiva. When Jacinto Pena came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Igarapava EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Pena couldn't finish the play. Régis Correia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the game, Nicolas Recife was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Liberdade SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Igarapava EC the free kick. Nicolas Recife received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Felipe Penha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Igarapava EC's Régis Correia got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kauan Reis was shown his second yellow card after 89 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After a rather tough play, Liberdade SS's Kauan Reis got a free kick in the 90th minute. Giovanni Rezende took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 91st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Chico Paiva. Liberdade SS's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 95th minute Jacinto Pena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chico Paiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Régis Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Igarapava EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Régis Correia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chico Paiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Igarapava EC had won after a very even match.
