Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Itapolis's Augusto Veloso started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Augusto Veloso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itapolis's supporters rose to their feet, but Augusto Veloso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dé Prestes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 8th minute Henrique Brasil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Quirino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Itapolis booed when Isidro SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Remo Mota didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Isidro SC's Doni Moreira got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 16th minute of the match Tarcisio do Valle sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dé Prestes skillfully saved the ball. Edinho de Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 23 minutes into the match, Isidro SC's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Veloso came free, but Dé Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luisinho Carvalho struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Oscar Quirino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Isidro SC. Dé Prestes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augusto Veloso in the 33rd minute of the match. Dé Prestes came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Itapolis's Augusto Veloso. But to his dismay, Augusto Veloso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Augusto Veloso came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Itapolis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augusto Veloso couldn't finish the play. If Augusto Veloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Henrique Brasil stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Veloso in the 53rd minute of play forced Isidro SC's goalkeeper Dé Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Remo Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Luisinho Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Oscar Quirino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henrique Brasil in the 63rd minute of the match. Augusto Veloso might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dé Prestes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Augusto Veloso ran back to his position shaking his head. Aloísio Fernandes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dé Prestes having to interfere. If Augusto Veloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edinho de Queirós got free with Dé Prestes in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 77th match minute, Itapolis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sérgio Guerra to maneuver through the defense. Ronaldão Fernandes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Oscar Quirino. Itapolis's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 82nd play minute Rogério Mattos came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dé Prestes. 0-2. In the 89th of the match, Augusto Veloso tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Dé Prestes got in the way and made a wonderful save. Augusto Veloso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Itapolis's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
