Dino Terra started the match with the kick off. 5 minutes into the game, Tijipio SS's Mauro Azevedo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gláuber Pereira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a rather tough play, Mangueirinha's Pedrão Freire got a free kick in the 8th minute. Mauro Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Gláuber Pereira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 13th minute Dino Terra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gláuber Pereira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romeu de Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Murillo Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tijipio SS's goalkeeper Murillo Silveira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 26th minute, one of Tijipio SS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tijipio SS. When the match had been going on for 28 minutes, Mangueirinha's Edinho Linares got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Murillo Silveira. Pedrão Freire fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murillo Silveira having to interfere. Gláuber Pereira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dino Terra in the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Afonsinho Magalhães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the match, Tijipio SS's goalkeeper Murillo Silveira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedrão Freire. Murillo Silveira was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gilmar Veiga showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 45 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gilmar Veiga to make the kick off. The supporters of Tijipio SS booed when Mangueirinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celso Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mauro Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gláuber Pereira having to interfere. Felippe Romero kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Gláuber Pereira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mauro Azevedo in the 62nd minute. Váldson Correia kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Dino Terra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Gláuber Pereira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilmar Veiga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Murillo Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilmar Veiga in the 94th minute of play. Mangueirinha's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
