Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Túlio Peres started the match with the kick off. Hermínio Moreno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 2nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cacá Alvess short, quick shot in the 4thth minute got Cléber Bertassi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Túlio Peres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ituxi EC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Jairo Valladares hit a great ball. Ituxi EC's Régis Arce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinícius Saraiva in the 12th minute of play. Régis Arce showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Túlio Peres in the 16th minute of the match. If Vinícius Saraiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ituxi EC's Régis Arce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinícius Saraiva in the 25th minute of play. Régis Arce didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vinícius Saraiva went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Túlio Peres in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Régis Arce saved Ituxi EC from getting behind. When Hermínio Moreno came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Ituxi EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hermínio Moreno couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Ituxi EC's Mazinho Favoretto got a free kick in the 41st minute. After 42 played minutes, Darcilena's Reynaldo do Valle shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Régis Arce came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Darcilena reached it. Hermínio Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cléber Bertassi having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hermínio Moreno was the one to do the kick off. Cléber Bertassi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermínio Moreno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cléber Bertassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermínio Moreno, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Cléber Bertassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermínio Moreno in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 64thth minute of the game Túlio Peres who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ituxi EC's Régis Arce was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Renato Valladares was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Darcilena's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ituxi EC the free kick. Renato Valladares hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Hermínio Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cléber Bertassi having to interfere. Régis Arce made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Túlio Peres in the 93rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Ituxi EC's Benjamin Santos got a free kick in the 94th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Darcilena eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
