Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Luiz Guilherme Carioca made the kick off and thus started the match. 6 minutes into the game, Nilson Leme was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tacanha SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Candeia SS the free kick. The supporters of Candeia SS booed when Tacanha SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nilson Leme didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Candeia SS's Mané Hermes in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tacanha SC's goalie prevented a goal. Juninho Bezerra fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Catarinense having to interfere. Luiz Guilherme Carioca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Paulo Meira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mané Hermes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severino Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sílvio Catarinense made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Juninho Bezerra sent off a good shot on target. After 36 minutes, Alberto de Souza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Candeia SS and the Tacanha SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Candeia SS getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Alberto de Souza hit a great ball. Juninho Bezerra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sílvio Catarinense having to make a save. In the 44thth minute of the game Luiz Guilherme Carioca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Candeia SS's Paulo Meira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 45th minute, Severino Neves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tacanha SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mané Hermes to strike the kick off in the second half. Sílvio Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juninho Bezerra in the 56th minute of the match. Jerônimo Prado hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Juninho Bezerra sped through Tacanha SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sílvio Catarinense. If Luiz Guilherme Carioca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Guilherme Carioca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Paulo Meira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Severino Neves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sílvio Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juninho Bezerra in the 72nd minute of the match. Léo Varela lost his temper 78 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 78 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Candeia SS! When the match had been going on for 80 minutes, Tacanha SC's Erivaldo Dias got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Paulo Meira. After 86 minutes, Ramiro Albuquerque mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Candeia SS and the Tacanha SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 87th minute, Ramiro Albuquerque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nilson Leme hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Tacanha SC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
