Dida Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adalberto Rossi in the 10th minute of the match. Edson Prado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Cascadura fans' excitement grew in the 15th match minute when Cascadura's Rafa Tavares looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Edson Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Dida Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edson Prado dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Rafa Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Marco Motta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marco Motta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sérgio Prado, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After 47 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tezourinhas EC! After the first half Cascadura were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adalberto Rossi was the one to do the kick off. Sérgio Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Marco Motta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cascadura's Dida Duarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edson Prado in the 57th minute of play. After 58 minutes of play, Tezourinhas EC's Adalberto Rossi made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dida Duarte was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tezourinhas EC's Adalberto Rossi got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Sérgio Prado took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Marco Motta to make any attempt to save it. 72 minutes into the game, Adalberto Rossi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Dida Duarte was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 75th minute Horácio Fonseca suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. After 75 minutes, Edu Linares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tezourinhas EC and the Cascadura players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Tezourinhas EC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Edu Linares hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the game, Jânio Eger cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Marco Motta was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Edson Prado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tezourinhas EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edson Prado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dida Duarte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dida Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edson Prado in the 87th minute of play. Dida Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Olavo Moraes in the 91st minute of the match. A collision led to Cascadura getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Didi da Costa hit a great ball. 97 minutes into the match, Cascadura's goal looked a bit too open when Adalberto Rossi came free, but Dida Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Tezourinhas EC's Adalberto Rossi in the 100th minute got a chance for a shot 100th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cascadura's goalie prevented a goal.
