Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Conrado Leal scored 1-3 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bruno Moura, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Michel da Matas short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Ciro de Godoy to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Bruno Moura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ediberto de Medeiros in the 86th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Ediberto de Medeiros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bruno Moura. Ipauguacu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ediberto de Medeiros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. After 95 played minutes Ipauguacu got a freekick which was hit by Michel da Mata. In the 98th minute, Michel da Mata got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Ipauguacu walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
