Joel Botelho started the match with the kick off. Criuva's Norberto Martins got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Joel Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Botelho scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonardo Rocha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Criuva's Felipe Mineiro got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Joel Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lino Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute Felipe Mineiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiaguinho Xavier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ingrata AD's Lino Ortiz got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Ingrata AD were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Felipe Mineiro to make the kick off. Norberto Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiaguinho Xavier having to interfere. Sandro Bastos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiaguinho Xavier having to interfere. Joel Botelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonardo Rocha having to interfere. Criuva's Leonardo Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Botelho in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Lino Ortiz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonardo Rocha. Criuva's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lino Ortiz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Tiaguinho Xavier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Mineiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Felipe Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiaguinho Xavier having to interfere. Ingrata AD's Tiaguinho Xavier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dedê Campidelis in the 82nd minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 83rd minute of the game. One of Ingrata AD:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Criuva:s goal. Afonso de Toledo walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. When Criuva's Felipe Mineiro in 87 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Tiaguinho Xavier guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Felipe Mineiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiaguinho Xavier having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Ingrata AD eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
