Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Manfredo Faria started the match with the kick off. Manfredo Faria might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Juninho Rossi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manfredo Faria ran back to his position shaking his head. Raúl Couto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovanni Melo having to interfere. After 11 played minutes Liberata got a freekick which was hit by Afonso Quirino. After 15 played minutes Liberata got a freekick which was hit by Dinei Neto. Tales Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Liberata's Giovanni Melo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matheus Maia in the 22nd minute of play. Celsinho Gonçalves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Matheus Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Giovanni Melo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Liberata's goal looked a bit too open when Matheus Maia came free, but Giovanni Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Matheus Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaime Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Celsinho Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juninho Rossi having to interfere. Giovanni Melo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tales Ferraz in the 43rd minute. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Liberata's goalkeeper Giovanni Melo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Matheus Maia was the one to do the kick off. Matheus Maia struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Giovanni Melo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Forquilinho. If José Pedro Secco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 58 minutes of play, Forquilinho's Matheus Maia made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giovanni Melo was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Liberata's Manfredo Faria in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Forquilinho's goalie prevented a goal. 72 minutes into the match, Liberata's goal looked a bit too open when Matheus Maia came free, but Giovanni Melo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manfredo Faria struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Juninho Rossi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Liberata. Celsinho Gonçalves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Manfredo Faria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giovanni Melo came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Forquilinho's Tales Ferraz. But to his dismay, Tales Ferraz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. A collision led to Forquilinho getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Nilton Santos hit a great ball. Juninho Rossi made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Celsinho Gonçalves sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matheus Maia in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giovanni Melo saved Liberata from getting behind. Juninho Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manfredo Faria, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Rubens Fonseca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juninho Rossi having to interfere. Liberata's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
