Raúl Couto's late challenge caught a Chumichuga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raúl Couto helped the player get up and apologised. Raúl Couto kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Tales Ferraz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gláuber Simões was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. 12 minutes into the game, Chumichuga's Basílio Aguiar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juninho Rossi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Ernesto Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Chumichuga's Gláuber Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tales Ferraz in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Matheus Maia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gláuber Simões. Chumichuga's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matheus Maia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Gilmar Corrêa kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Forquilinho's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Valdir Prata scored to the left of an out of position Juninho Rossi, making the score, 2-1. Valdir Prata struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Juninho Rossi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chumichuga. When Chumichuga's Valdir Prata in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Forquilinho's goalie prevented a goal. After 34 played minutes Chumichuga got a freekick which was hit by Ernesto Pereira. If Tales Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute, Matheus Maia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ernesto Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Juninho Rossi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaime Moraes charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaime Moraes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Valdir Prata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Juninho Rossi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilmar Corrêa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 48 minutes, Gilmar Corrêa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chumichuga and the Forquilinho players grew even worse after the yellow card.

The wind increased when Matheus Maia made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Forquilinho's Raúl Couto got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Juninho Rossi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valdir Prata's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Anderson de Castro's late challenge caught a Chumichuga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anderson de Castro helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Forquilinho getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Anderson de Castro hit a great ball. Juninho Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Basílio Aguiar, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After 59 minutes, Ernesto Pereira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chumichuga and the Forquilinho players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Forquilinho booed when Chumichuga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdir Prata didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Chumichuga's Gláuber Simões got control of the ball when Tales Ferraz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Juninho Rossi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valdir Prata, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Tales Ferraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Gláuber Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chumichuga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdir Prata was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Valdir Prata managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chumichuga's supporters rose to their feet, but Valdir Prata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juninho Rossi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gláuber Simões made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Tales Ferraz sent off a good shot on target.
