If Fausto Arantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 6th minute, Haroldo Perez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fausto Arantes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Dário Marinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fausto Arantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dário Marinho having to interfere. Fausto Arantes scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dário Marinho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 22nd minute, Sandrinho de Godoy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dário Marinho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Gerber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Fausto Arantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When José Gerber came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Edeia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Gerber couldn't finish the play. Nicolas Fantini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juvenal Leme in the 38th minute of play. The supporters of Mariom SC booed when Edeia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Angelo Rossi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Edeia's goal looked a bit too open when Juvenal Leme came free, but Nicolas Fantini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandrinho de Godoy in the 43rd minute of play forced Edeia's goalkeeper Nicolas Fantini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Juvenal Leme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 45th minute Sandrinho de Godoy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolas Fantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 46 played minutes Edeia got a freekick which was hit by Flávio Urbano. 47 minutes into the match, Edeia's goal looked a bit too open when Sandrinho de Godoy came free, but Nicolas Fantini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juvenal Leme to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Fausto Arantes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dário Marinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolas Fantini made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sandrinho de Godoy in the 52nd minute. If Sandrinho de Godoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 57 minutes into the match, Sandrinho de Godoy dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Nicolas Fantini, 1-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Sandrinho de Godoy managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mariom SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sandrinho de Godoy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicolas Fantini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Flávio Urbano hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. José Gerber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sandrinho de Godoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandrinho de Godoy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sandrinho de Godoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flávio Urbano charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flávio Urbano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Flávio Urbano hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Nicolas Fantini acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 84th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Abel Vasconcelos. Fausto Arantes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Dário Marinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 87 played minutes Mariom SC got a freekick which was hit by Túlio Ceresso. Flávio Urbano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dário Marinho having to interfere. Edeia were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Mariom SC for a fine match.
