Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nestor Nóbrega kicked off to start the match. Marcus de Godoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdomiro Neiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 5th minute, Cido Simões got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Valdomiro Neiva's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcus de Godoy was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. After 9 minutes of play, Guarapuava AD's Tibúrcio de Amaral made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernardinho Barral was left in no man's land by his defense there! The corner led Joaci's Matheus Velasco to fire away a dangerous shot which Marcus de Godoy despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Guarapuava AD's Nestor Nóbrega got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tibúrcio de Amaral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the game, Guarapuava AD's Nestor Nóbrega nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernardinho Barral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 47 minutes into the match, Guarapuava AD's goalkeeper Marcus de Godoy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cido Simões. The Joaci players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Guarapuava AD were winning 0-2.

Valdomiro Neiva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcus de Godoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdomiro Neiva in the 84th minute of the match. Nestor Nóbrega recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bernardinho Barral didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 90th minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Guarapuava AD had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
