Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Samuca Guedes kicked off to start the match. Eliseu Borges came free with the goalkeeper in the 7th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Valdir Quaresma could save by the left post. After having played for 8 minutes, Teodoro Vidal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Esteira's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodoro Vidal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Esteira's Teodoro Vidal got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tibúrcio de Queiroz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samuca Guedes in the 16th minute of the match. Dionísio Hoffmann hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Teodoro Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tibúrcio de Queiroz having to interfere. Esteira's Valdir Quaresma played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Augusto Loureiro in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to Esteira getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Nando Couto hit a great ball. Tibúrcio de Queiroz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuca Guedes struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Tibúrcio de Queiroz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esteira. Samuca Guedes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tibúrcio de Queiroz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. Cachoeirao's João Augusto Loureiro got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
