Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Benedito Vianna started the match with the kick off. Bernardo Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cacá de Toledo in the 11th minute of play. Edu da Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Fernandez having to interfere. Vânderson Botelho took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 23rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Bernardo Fernandez. Acudes SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Benedito Vianna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inácio Toledo having to interfere. Benedito Vianna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cruena FC's Cacá de Toledo got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Acudes SC's Bernardo Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Montenegro in the 38th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Cacá de Toledo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardo Fernandez was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cacá de Toledo made a kick off. Acudes SC's Bernardo Fernandez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cacá de Toledo in the 55th minute of play. In the 58th play minute Oscar Montenegro came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Bernardo Fernandez. 0-1. Christian Sampaio scored 1-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Inácio Toledo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Benedito Vianna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th match minute, Cruena FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aírton Ferreira to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, Acudes SC's Gualter Amaral broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 70 played minutes Cruena FC got a freekick which was hit by Donato de Amaral. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Cacá de Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cruena FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cacá de Toledo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Fernandez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Acudes SC's Christian Sampaio got a free kick in the 74th minute. Inácio Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedito Vianna in the 78th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, one of Acudes SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Acudes SC. The referee gave Cruena FC a penalty, 84 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Kléberson Teixeira, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Acudes SC's Bernardo Fernandez. 1-2. In the 87th match minute, Cruena FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edu da Silva to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, Benedito Vianna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Inácio Toledo. Cruena FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedito Vianna was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Olavo Prata kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Benedito Vianna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Acudes SC booed when Cruena FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olavo Prata didn't get a good kick on the ball. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
