The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cacá de Toledo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Itaara EC's goalkeeper Washington Severo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rafael Carneiro charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
