Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Aloísio Andrade started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Félix during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Locos booed when Sarvuela SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Félix didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 5 played minutes Locos got a freekick which was hit by Pedrinho Viana. Gerson Travassos's late challenge caught a Sarvuela SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerson Travassos helped the player get up and apologised. Gerson Travassos hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Lino Penha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrinho Viana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Agenor Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedrinho Viana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the match, Pedrinho Viana notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Sarvuela SC's Lino Penha. Lino Penha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Locos booed when Sarvuela SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Félix didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Pedrinho Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Zé Carlos Meira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Locos getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Dadá Vale hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Oscar Coutinho made the kick off in the second half. Oscar Coutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Agenor Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 59th minute Oscar Coutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agenor Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Pedrinho Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Locos defense, Oscar Coutinho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Agenor Monteiro. The Locos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Agenor Monteiro should have stopped the shot. Antônio Abraão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agenor Monteiro having to interfere. In the 71st minute, João Félix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Locos's Lino Penha threw himself towards the right post 74 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pedrinho Viana, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Coutinho in the 84th minute of play forced Locos's goalkeeper Agenor Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Agenor Monteiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antônio Abraão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Oscar Coutinho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Agenor Monteiro was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Pedrinho Viana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Locos's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedrinho Viana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lino Penha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Locos's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
