Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Aracu SC's Severino de Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aloísio Andrade in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute Pedrinho Viana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino de Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Locos's Aloísio Andrade ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Severino de Mendonça. Severino de Mendonça yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. If Pedrinho Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aloísio Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino de Mendonça having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sydney Dias during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sydney Dias kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Locos's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Igor Diniz in the 28th minute. If Raphael Lopez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Aracu SC's goalkeeper Severino de Mendonça, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sebastião Bertassi might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Agenor Monteiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastião Bertassi ran back to his position shaking his head. Aloísio Andrade struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Severino de Mendonça didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Locos. Pedrinho Viana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Severino de Mendonça made a huge save. After 42 minutes, Gerson Travassos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Locos and the Aracu SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Aracu SC booed when Locos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerson Travassos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kiko Velloso charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kiko Velloso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aloísio Andrade to make the kick off. Reynaldo Loureiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Agenor Monteiro made a huge save. After 54 played minutes Locos got a freekick which was hit by Dadá Vale. When Alex Aguiar fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aracu SC's protests and gave Alex Aguiar a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Aracu SC's Alex Aguiar got a free kick in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrinho Viana in the 66th minute of play forced Aracu SC's goalkeeper Severino de Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Locos's Aloísio Andrade nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severino de Mendonça made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 76th match minute, Locos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dadá Vale to maneuver through the defense. Alex Aguiar hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. If Aloísio Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Aracu SC's Ian Gaspar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Agenor Monteiro. That made the score 4-1 after 84 minutes of play. Alex Aguiar was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 88 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, one of Aracu SC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Aracu SC. In the 94th minute, Pedrinho Viana made a precise shot to the right of Severino de Mendonça. Aracu SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. Locos were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Aracu SC for a fine match.
