Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Leonel Pimenta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Agenor Monteiro having to make a save. 9 minutes into the match, Locos's Aloísio Andrade sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Róbson Gonçalves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 14th minute Aloísio Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Róbson Gonçalves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Locos's Gerson Travassos suffered a concussion in the 17th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Cristian Correia hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Marco Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Agenor Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Locos's zone, Leonel Pimenta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Agenor Monteiro came out of the goal and Leonel Pimenta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Róbson Gonçalves made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedrinho Viana in the 27th minute. If Marco Correia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Timbahuba SC's Leonel Pimenta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Agenor Monteiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Locos booed when Timbahuba SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Pedrinho Viana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavinho Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Róbson Gonçalves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Agenor Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Pimenta in the 39th minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Aloísio Andrade was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Locos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Timbahuba SC the free kick. After 40 played minutes Locos got a freekick which was hit by Aloísio Andrade. After 45 minutes of play Timbahuba SC's Cristian Correia was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Timbahuba SC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Cristian Correia hit a great ball. Ivo Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 52nd match minute, Locos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Diniz to maneuver through the defense. Róbson Gonçalves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrinho Viana in the 57th minute of play. Pedrinho Viana struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Róbson Gonçalves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Locos. When Severino Castro was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 64 minutes had been played. Severino Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Igor Diniz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Róbson Gonçalves. Timbahuba SC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Pedrinho Viana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Locos booed when Timbahuba SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonel Pimenta didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Vítor Gerber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 86 played minutes Timbahuba SC got a freekick which was hit by Leonel Pimenta. In the 87th minute of the match Igor Diniz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Róbson Gonçalves showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Locos's Pedrinho Viana got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 94 minutes, José Vítor Gerber mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Timbahuba SC and the Locos players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 94th match minute, Timbahuba SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Vítor Gerber to maneuver through the defense. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
