Orlando Queiroz started the match with the kick off. Juninho Leite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Veloso having to interfere. Edgar Veloso made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Juninho Leite sent off a good shot on target. If Orlando Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Jatuarana AD's Juninho Leite got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute of the match Nelson Albuquerque sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guga Gaspar skillfully saved the ball. Guga Gaspar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 33rd match minute, Bilheira SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Digo da Costa to maneuver through the defense. Juninho Leite received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Edgar Veloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabino Varela in the 45th minute of play forced Bilheira SS's goalkeeper Edgar Veloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 48 minutes into the match, Bilheira SS's goalkeeper Edgar Veloso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Juninho Leite. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sabino Varela to make the kick off. Sabino Varela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Sabino Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bilheira SS's Edgar Veloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sabino Varela in the 58th minute of play. Orlando Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adalberto Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Guga Gaspar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juninho Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orlando Queiroz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guga Gaspar having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Bilheira SS's goal looked a bit too open when Sabino Varela came free, but Edgar Veloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Guga Gaspar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Queiroz in the 79th minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Bilheira SS's Orlando Queiroz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Guga Gaspar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 86 played minutes Jatuarana AD got a freekick which was hit by Ramón de Carvalho. In the 89th minute, Túlio Tepedino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carlos Silveira hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. When Bilheira SS's Orlando Queiroz in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jatuarana AD's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Queiroz in the 96th minute of play forced Jatuarana AD's goalkeeper Guga Gaspar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
