Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, Caribas's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimir Porto came free, but Doni Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vladimir Porto in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Doni Seco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir Porto in the 9th minute of play forced Caribas's goalkeeper Doni Seco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 18th minute, Chiquinho Azevedo made a precise shot to the right of Doni Seco. Caribas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Pedrão Soeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Walmyr Azevedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Doni Seco made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Chiquinho Azevedo sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Doni Seco managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Derrubada FC's Chiquinho Azevedo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Walmyr Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bebeto Freitas in the 36th minute of play. Walmyr Azevedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedrão Soeiro's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Bebeto Freitas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedrão Soeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Walmyr Azevedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vladimir Porto to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 played minutes, Derrubada FC's Pedro Luís Trancoso shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Doni Seco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Derrubada FC reached it. In the 58th minute, Pedrão Soeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 61st minute, Bebeto Freitas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 68th minute by Bebeto Freitas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Pedrão Soeiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Walmyr Azevedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. 80 minutes into the game, Caribas's Pedro Luís Lara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Walmyr Azevedo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 85 minutes of play, Derrubada FC's Chiquinho Azevedo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Doni Seco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Walmyr Azevedo was a little too slow when Bebeto Freitas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 88th minute. The score was now 2-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Pedro Luís Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot. Caribas's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedro Luís Lara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Walmyr Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
